Samuel Lee Cole, 73, of Braman, Oklahoma passed away Monday, October 5, 2009 at Integris Blackwell Regional Hospital. He was born November 9, 1935 at Wichita, Kansas to Talmadge and Orilla (Aldridge) Cole.

Samuel will be cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.   Arrangements are under the direction of the Blackwell Funeral Home, Blackwell, Oklahoma.

Samuel grew up in Wichita, Kansas. He has lived in Braman, Oklahoma for the past 30 years. He married Vivian Cole on March 23, 1958 and they celebrated 50 years of marriage; she preceded him in death January of this year.

Samuel enjoyed fishing and watching old westerns when he was not running his own bar called “Sam and Viv’s” in Braman.

Survivors include his children, Debi Utech and her husband, John, Rick Cole and his wife Joy, Brenda Wilson and her husband, Tim; one sister, Vicki Smith; two half brothers, Tom and Randy Williams; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and a step father, Frank Williams.
