Katherine Jean (Newman) Bouska, 54, of Blackwell, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, November 15, 2009 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She was born September 9, 1955 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Earl and Betty (Goble) Newman.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Blackwell Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of the Blackwell Funeral Home, Blackwell, Oklahoma.

Katherine grew up and attended school in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blackwell.

Katherine loved animals of all kind. She enjoyed getting to meet and make new friends knowing that she would get to visit and see them again. Going down to the museum and playing the piano is what she like to do during her free time. Most of all, she loved to visit with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Christal Gaither and her husband Michael of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Albert Bouska and his fiancé Danielle Mathews of Loco, Oklahoma; one brother Lewis Ray Newman and his wife, Cathy of Blackwell, Oklahoma; her mother, Betty Newman of California; four grandchildren, Tillie, Katelynn, and Emily Gaither, Marie Bouska; number of aunts and uncles and cousins; and her companion, Jack Clemens

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Newman; one granddaughter, Lillie Bouska.
