Felix Edgar Thein, 56, of Blackwell, Oklahoma
passed away Sunday, June 24, 2010 at Integris
Blackwell Regional Hospital in Blackwell,
Oklahoma. He was born August 02, 1953 to Ray and
Dorothy (Jones) Thein.
The family will be holding a memorial service at
a later date. Arrangements are under the
direction of the Blackwell Funeral Home,
Blackwell, Oklahoma.
Felix grew up in Belle Plaine, Kansas until the
age of thirteen and then moved to Renton,
Washington. There he attended McKnight Middle
School and then Hazen High School. At the age of
thirty two he moved to Braman, Oklahoma to open
a garage with his father and brother. Felix made
Blackwell, Oklahoma his home in 2002 until time
of death.
Felix worked for Mikes Septic in his teen years.
He then worked for Isaac Son’s Steel on
Seattle’s Waterfront until the business folded.
At that time he became a mechanic by teaching
himself and by the help of his father. He was
always willing to fix a friends car. Felix also
worked for Tyson’s Meats until the plant
relocated in 2009.
He was a very caring and loving brother. He was
especially protective of his sisters. Leatha
Russell and Felix were close in age and closest
through out adulthood. Spending time with his
sister and friends was always cherished.
Survivors include his two sisters, Leatha Ann
Russell of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Loretta June
Huff of Renton, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two
brothers, Claude and Michael Thein; one sister,
Linda Lee Clemens.
